I personally think its find so long as you make fun of the sexual tension, not necessarily making gay jokes (if that makes sense)

If you really wanted to have a good image for the university, the students could get together and pledge that for every missed WYO free throw, they will donate X amount of money to the Matthew Shepard foundation (or the Trevor Project, or GLAAD, or etc.)
