Sounds and looks like Leon is a bit uncomfortable and nervous about the possibility of things changing in this interview about why he is still recruiting guards despite apparently having no scholarships left.

A lot of Boise fans seem to think Max Rice can play off scholarship next year, but it would cost them back tuition or something

I always thought once you were on scholarship you couldn’t go back off of it

I thought it was once you come off an athletic scholarship, you couldn't go back on it.

I am no expert on it but I believe once you are on athletic scholarship you can then not go off it and just basically be a walk on for the team. I am not 100% positive on that.

I would think if anything were to happen with him, we would have seen a little bit of “smoke” by now

That. Sucks. To be turned down is one thing, but to not even be pursuing him is a travesty. I’ve said it before, but I have a feeling that’s a choice we are going to seriously be regretting for the next three years. Did Marcus Saxon dm you this info?
