Good to have Donman on board! When you have the middle of the road types coming around you know this has gone on far too long.

AMEN! Get it done. The new guy or potential new guy is watching his star players bleed from the team. Can't be awesome.

Just give who ever the (I can't express myself without swearing) that 1.5 you offered Odom. Miles and Sprinkle are both deserving of 1.5 and I have no qualms giving it to them.

Everything is fine there are so many great candidates and others expressing interest we shouldn’t leave any stone unturned.

I am skeptical that we offered Odom a large new contract and that we have our pick of all these great candidates.

Seems like narrative being pushed to try and get interest

We are (I can't express myself without swearing). I don’t see a situation where we get out of this mess.

Coach K comes to USU is about all I can think of that would save us.

It is not that bad. Certainly the team is going to be need a big makeover but if we get a solid candidate it can be done. I thought the same thing with the football team after the Gary 2.0 debacle and that got turned around quickly. It will certainly be an uphill climb but can be done.

A good start would be Tim Miles bringing Omari Moore with him.

The longer drags on it tells me multiple people have said no. So, probably not getting a great candidate the longer it goes.

At this point I don’t care who it is. Just hire somebody and try and try and stop the bleeding.

And deal with them for 4 years if they are a subpar candidate? We all wanted a coach announced 3 days ago. Not sure what is taking so long but you don't just hire anybody you got to get a great candidate. There are like 1400 players in the transfer portal. The Aggies can offer a lot of minutes. If you hire a good candidate they will hopefully get some good transfers in the program.

Part of the job of the AD is to "sell" the job and instill confidence in the coach wanting to work for you. The job doesn't just entirely sell itself. If this is the case it would seem the AD/President is not doing a good job of this with candidates.

The signs have been clear that this was happening since we lost in the tournament. If work wasn't being done then that was a terrible mistake by the AD.

The thing that worries me is that we have heard nothing concrete from anyone. Heck I worked in the athletic department as a student. I knew things on hires before they happened.

I am getting worried this is taking so long.

And shame on all of those people who wished Odom well on his way out.

I hope VCU loses every game. How he dealt with Utah State was not honest. Looking at other jobs for the entire year.

Like I said earlier - Odom has officially been gone for a week. The rumors that he was leaving for USF started two weeks ago. You and others claim Odom was pretty much gone since tournament loss, if not earlier.

Bovee has had plenty of unofficial time to search and do his due diligence, and a full week to officially search and interview. Other universities had their guy with much less notice. WTF is going on. Hire someone already.

UVU might hire someone before us, lol.

The fact that the typical insiders have gone from cryptic to silent is odd. Tells me either something is done and they are waiting for the okay to talk about it. Or nothing is happening. But if nothing was happening you would think they would be vocal about it. And if something was nearly done you would think they would be here reassuring everyone.

It almost seems like Bovee has locked them all up in the Estes center and are holding them hostage until someone decides to take the job.

@aggies22 @ratofallaggies @jimbo @JonnyCienPesos and anyone else that might know what is going on.

If you are alive and Vovee is holding you against your will please let us know...
