If you wanted you could update the fun fact to say: The Aggies and Aztecs have met in 3 of the last 4 4 of the last 5 Mountain West Tournament Championships.

Thanks for posting. Of course, we haven't learned our lesson at Utah State by adding in a stipulation that the school schedule us home/home if they buy out his contract. BIG mistake!

I found this part interesting. Hmmm. "Coach Smith had the built in raises, whereas coach Odom’s salary stayed stable at $800K per year for 5 years." Any questions about Odom?

Yep...it's something we'd like, but I'm not sure Sprinkle or anyone else would want to handcuff or dictate who his next employer schedules. And some just plain wouldn't want to be in a position to have to come back and compete against his past recruits.

I though that was really strange that they didn't build any raises into his contract. Maybe that was because he negotiated hard on a low buyout.
