Wild averages. Haha
One, Jaycee Carroll didn't play the strongest HS competition either.
If he can play, he can play.

He was at ratball on Friday along with Sam Phipps, Tanner Davis and one other kid. I was told the staff REALLY likes him.

His classification is like 10-30 kids per grade. Evanston is larger as I’m sure you know and competition would be much stronger. But agreed with your comments.3rdGenAggie wrote: ↑July 1st, 2023, 10:40 pmWild averages. Haha

Crazy thing in reading about his team yesterday is they played some 4a/5a schools in idaho last year and they won.

Re: Kase Wynott
A really nice offer. He is legit a D1 kid.
Lapwai is a perennial power every year. They would compete for a 3A/4A championship each year.
They don't play cupcakes in their non conference games. They are 1A but play 4A and 5A teams, and they beat them usually. Had a 62 game winning streak that was broken in state championship game. He had 40 points in the game.
This summer I saw him play in a summer tournament and I was skeptical at first. By the end of the game and tournament I was a believer. He can play outside and inside. Smart player. They won the tournament, playing all bigger schools.
Glad we offered.

Re: Kase Wynott
How many points did Lapwai score per game? Their two top players combined for more than 52 points and 14 assists per game. Maybe they play in a two-on-two league?

Re: Kase Wynott
Wynott averaged close to a triple double. Their non conference schedule is tough as they play 4A and 5A schools in Oregon, Idaho and Washington and beat them. Last year against the number 1 4A team in Oregon at the time he had 36 including the game winner. At the state tournament his games were standing room only because everyone wanted to watch him and Lapwaii. He has the body at 6’6” 195 lbs.

Re: Kase Wynott
Tough to judge a kid by 5 minutes of high school highlights but man he looks like a player. Good handle, good hops and you can’t teach that stroke.

Re: Kase Wynott
They have a very tough non conference schedule not only including big schools in Idaho but Oregon and Washington. Up til the state championship game which they lost in OT they had won over 62 games in a row. I watched him last year and he plays smooth and effortless.slcagg wrote: ↑July 2nd, 2023, 6:16 amHis classification is like 10-30 kids per grade. Logan might feel somewhat like home.
Assuming he isn’t, but maybe. Do you know if a mission kid?

You should start a thread about him or share about him here. Nobody is discrediting him by talking about this kid.

Re: Kase Wynott
Looks like Lapwai is on the Nez Perce Reservation very near Moscow, Idaho. No wonder they competed well against 4A and 5A teams. Rez Ball is no joke.

So, is Kase nez Perce?
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Re: Kase Wynott
His offers outside of us so far from what I can find
Indiana State, UC San Diego, Montana, Idaho State, Eastern Washington, Weber State, Idaho, and Montana State
He is rising on the recruit ranking lists, and I watched the highlights. Looks like a potential elite basketball player.

Really like this offer. Super impressed with Sprinkle so far. This offseason has been a lot more fun to follow than those of the last few coaches. Hopefully the on-court stuff follows! Really excited for the upcoming season!
