Am I accurate???

Am I accurate???
Hey guys, I posted this in another post about what record in the next 11.
I stated 2 things and I'm curious if I'm way off.
1-I think our defense will keep us in games. So many times we go on long stretches of no points. However, we seem to keep it close with our defense. And our 3pt D seems go as well.
2-people complain that Aggies get a lot of calls. I haven't seen a team play like this in college or NBA in a long time. I feel like we're old school.. We drive and play down low. We aren't just chucking 3pt shots all game. Which would lead to more fouls for our aggressive inside play.

I agree that our defense keeps us in games, and our ability to get in the paint and draw fouls keeps us in the game.

Playing that frantic 1-3-1 zone is crazy tiring. It ended up being pretty effective when done in spurts.

Yep it was effective. They did make some three's out of it but prevented them from killing the Aggies in the paint which for a lot of the night they were owning the Aggies down low.

Our defense sucked, but the zone saved us in the end. Great coaching to throw that out there.

I totally agree. Ian’s 6/8 3pt shooting kept us in the game more than anything else

That 1-3-1 zone was terrifying me though, Darius was in the paint under the hoop and it felt like if UNLV was smarter they would’ve gotten the ball over the bigs coming out for an easy basket down low
