Should we be a top 25 team right now? We keep finding ways to win games, even if it is ugly, but I watch highlights of other top 25 teams and I feel like we don’t belong. Are we actually better than BSU, NM, SDSU, CSU, and UNR? I feel like we are the underdogs of this conference. Maybe paranoia comes with being a top 25 team, knowing you can be knocked out on any given week.

We are absolutely on par or better than all of the MW teams. The conference is really deep this year with 6-7 genuinely good teams, but we are all probably in the 25-40 range rather than true top 25 teams, which means any tournament game we play will be a toss up coin flip type game against some of these #35-50 major conf teams like Missouri last year, etc.

We have the pieces to make a run at both the conf title and in March

Yes, I have been slow to jump on the we are really good bandwagon but here we are. We are going to lose a few more games for sure, but I believe we can finish top 3 in this league. Before conference play, I thought 5 was out ceiling. Top 3 in this league deserves to be ranked.

I honestly don’t think we are a top 25 team.

We need to be more consistent from 3(last game helped in that regard with 2 players shooting well).

I also think we need more more from Sahko and Johnson on post up offense to have more options down low when they try to take Great away.

I think Mason has been doing a tremendous job but tends to disappear in bigger games and against taller teams.

Martinez has been amazing on offense and even at times on defense but he needs to play smarter and not get in foul trouble so much.

I do believe we have the ceiling of a top 25 team. Like Coach Sprinkle said, we have another gear or two still in us. If we can take that next step between now and March, we are definitely a top 25 team then.

I think we are. When you watch highlights of other teams, you are seeing their best. You don't see the stretches where they are being outplayed or missing shots.

I don't really worry about it too much. I see a team that is still figuring things out. We can play a lot better, certainly more consistent. I think that is great for this time of the season with a completely new team.

There is a lot of parody in college basketball this year. I think we can play with anyone.

The thing that makes us good is that if one or two guys are not feeling it, so far there has been someone else who can step up and fill the gap. That depth in good players who can step up is why I think we are.

I agree. This is the most athletic team we’ve had in 20+ years. We’ve all been drooling for a tall lengthy athletic team and when we get one we say we aren’t as good as we are ranked. Crazy.

Why can't we just enjoy where we are right now? No matter how successful the Aggies are in any sport there is always someone who feels the need to put it down. It wouldn't matter if we were the actual #1 team in the nation, there would be someone that would come on here and find a reason to invalidate our success. That is exactly what's going on here. All of you pessimistic, arm chair quarterback, "my life sucks", "I hate my job", losers need to get a life and figure out why you SUCK at life and stop taking it out on the Aggies! AMEN

to answer your question yes, we have earned it because we keep winning and until lose to these other teams, then we can discuss. Enjoy this team and coach as long as we can!

On the road in our first "real" game of the year, given that the actual first game was non-D1.

We have found ways to win even if ugly. That's a sign of a great team. Go Aggies!

First our own fan base tries to take away from Utah State pulling off a miraculous 5 point play for the win and now some are saying our team who has shocked the Nation doesn’t belong. The MWC is a dang good conference things are different now. Our team is 16-1. No need to take that away from them. No need to apologize just enjoy way to go Sweet #16 Aggies!
