First of all May I say that in my 75 years, today’s game against SDSU is the biggest screw job by the refs I can remember.
Why do they call traveling against us but not the three time SD did?
Why do they not call 3 seconds anymore?
Why don’t they call palming anymore?
WHY do they favor SD so much?

Mason grabs the ball in the hand of his opponent, and rips it away. We deserve possession, instead they call a foul. Later in the game the same thing happens except the one that grabs the ball was a SD player. No foul.
I could go on and on……but for me, this is the worst.

Boise State was also a screw job.
The refs should be investigated for gambling because it is that bad.

They have hit shots when it mattered. They chased after long rebounds. We didn’t get the bounces. It happens. Refs were bad. We have to play through that.

I agree, but it is more than that, how many touch fouls led to free throws in first half, we got no calls on the other end, inconsistent officiating is bull (I can't express myself without swearing)

Tough to win on the road, refs were bad but that’s gonna happen. The biggest dagger was the bs offensive foul on Uduje which would’ve been a 3 point play and led to a 3 the other way

We will get them back in the Spectrum

one minute to go in the game and the aggies have not even shot a one and one free throw, in a game this physical that is just not possible without (I can't express myself without swearing) worthless refs, Osobor with 1 free throw, i call bull (I can't express myself without swearing) and i think three guys officiating that game are not competent at their job, what (I can't express myself without swearing) useless pieces of (I can't express myself without swearing)

We missed plenty of opportunities for sure...but there were 2 momentum changing calls that I think really hurt....the moment the refs decided to stop play for the "head grab" and the charge call on the potential 3 point play

The refs were there on about every play giving the game to San Diego State. We did miss shots, but the refs were the difference.

We were beat in every way you can be beat in a game. Refs had nothing to do with that. Viejas is as tough as the Spectrum. Aztecs are the most experienced team in the league. Complaining about refs is silly, suggesting that money is why is worse. We lost a game we should have lost. Period.

Agreed. The defender was definitely moving LATERALLY. And we were told this year that it would be harder to draw a charge. Guess these (I can't express myself without swearing) didn’t get the memo.

Every drive to the rim was like that call.

Seriously. I saw at least 4 travels that did not get called. They shot 15 more ft’s. But that life in the road. If the refs allow this physical of a game we will rarely if ever beat them.

They also had a couple of dudes that really stepped up for them and overall they shot lights out. Our bench was basically a no show.

SDSU made their tough shots, we didn't.

J Pal having a career game really screwed up our defense

We don't have a bench

We threw the ball away on some critical fastbreaks

Refs definitely favored SDSU

The Josh charge was a joke based on this years standards. We settled for too many 3's and needed to get Osobor going down low. Credit SDSU they took it away. The team will bounce back, the Aztecs rarely lose at home.

I dont remember any contested threes, they were all pretty much wide open

hell yeah we were, could you imagine if we got to play that physical without a whistle? We would kick the (I can't express myself without swearing) out of sdsu too right?

I could go on and on……but for me, this is the worst.

Johnson, Osobor, and etc. drove to the rim with blatant fouls. Between Johnson and Osobor, we got 1 free throw (in the last minute of the game). The traveling by San Diego State is much worse than people realized (I lost count after 10 because I was laughing at that point). As you said, we can go on and on.
MWC have done two major screw jobs on us, and we have gone 1-1 in those games.

It’s not the refs fault but the charge call on Uduje and their 3 on the next possession was the dagger in the game. 6 point swing

Yes, they shot the ball well. The refs cooked up a play against us on every play. It was 8 on 5 basketball.

Agreed, they hit some really tough ones as well, but there were 3ish where our bigs did not close out and just gave them a practice shot basically. Have to close out stronger.

It was pretty obvious that SDSU is the better team. In fact, we played them tougher last year and gave them a better fight. SDSU exposed our weaknesses and attacked them all game long. We are a horrible three-point shooting team and aren't physical inside while they are more athletic than we are at every position.
