Questions for coaches show
I am not a coach and have very little experience with basketball X’s and O’s. So these question are out of curiosity and learning. And maybe a little frustration from last night
1. What is our game-plan when teams strategize to take osobor out of the game?
2. Why do we rarely see a zone defense from this team? We play a 1-3-1, but I do not remember the last time I saw anything else from zone.
3. Is there a reason why we don’t try sahko/templin combo with Osobor more often? Al Lewis’ response last night was his attempt at “coach speak” and not valid for last nights game IMO.
4. It seems like we have been playing a 7 man rotation lately, is this an attempt to prepare the starters for higher minutes in the MWC tournament or to force them to “figure things out”?
Anyway, not trying to discredit or play down what an amazing job Sprinkle has done this year. I am truly amazed at the season we are having. But maybe games like last night show how “lucky” we have been?
