Perhaps, I'm reading into this too much but it appears they're not serious about the game and would rather dink around. It's like they have 2 feet out the door. We're screwed.

They have a little half court contest between the coaches and the players at the end of every shoot around/walk through. Looks like Sprinkle for the win
