I am ok with these awards. I am glad that brown didn't get put on 3rd team. I think he should be 1st team but oh well

Honestly, my biggest complaint here is that Kalib Boone is Honorable Mention. I think he should have been 3rd Team. Aside from that, everything else seems good to me.

Darius Brown 2nd team is BS. Colorado St, New Mexico, and SDSU vastly underperformed in conference play and their leaders should bear the brunt of that lack of success.

It would be impossible to have 11 media people and not have at least 1 moron. Rule of thumb would be 50%.

Brown should have had DPOY in my opinion as well. If you count hacking the (I can't express myself without swearing) out of people and getting away with it defense, then House hands down. Brown plays it right. Did he ever even get close to fouling out?

Last year it went to the best player on the fifth best team as well in Omari Moore at SJSU.
But yes, we just want consistency.

House is an incredibly overrated defender in the minds of the media. For every steal he may get, he cancels it out by getting stupid fouls, overplaying and giving up an open lane, ball watching and leaving his man open.

Iv never seen a player more consistently beat defenders to their spots. Guys can’t drive on him because he is constantly a step a head of him. He may not get a ton of steals but that’s because he doesn’t need to. He just stops the opposing team from penetrating. His steals come from sly little picks when they are not paying attention. Best guard defender USU has ever had in my opinion.

There was one exception. Dent. That dude is crazy good. He one upped Brown at NM for sure

Yep. Comparatively the only stat that Lucas has is 5 more points per game, but also has 5 less assists per game and 2 less rebounds per game
