Re: GREAT IS PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Does this mean that Sprink voted for osobor? I'd have to imagine a split vote would have resulted in a ledee win.
Ledee is obviously the best player in the MWC. but i guess you can argue that POY doesn't mean the best player; Osobor led us to the MWC championship and defined our season, even with Brown's heroics.

There was likely a tie for second team, as there are six players there.

Re: GREAT IS PLAYER OF THE YEAR
I assume “W” means wing? Unless I misunderstand what the wing position is, Osobor doesn’t seem like a wing. He’s a prototypical old-style college power forward.

Well, that settles it. Sprinkle NEVER GETS TO VOTE AGAIN. He said he was dead serious. I'm holding him to it. A man of honor.

Re: GREAT IS PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Coaches mostly got it right. VERY happy to see brown first team. No-one more deserving. And player of the year should have come from USU one way or another. Only thing is Brown getting snubbbed on DPOY

From an offensive standpoint, he was inconsistent. I thought he usually played good defense!

Re: GREAT IS PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Absolutely! Leon voted for Max to be the POY, and BJ Rains is being held responsible for Max not securing the POY award. BJ's tweets and posts critiquing Max's shooting abilities have led the Rice family to suspect that this influenced other coaches to withhold their votes for Max.
Additionally, the Rice's said that USU's soft schedule that only included BSU on it twice made it easy for Great to obtain the POY.

Re: GREAT IS PLAYER OF THE YEAR
I can't help but think how different the standings and the all-conference team would look if Graham Ike had system at Wyoming. He was unstoppable.
