Danny Sprinkle
I have been very disappointed with how many of you believe that DS is leaving after this season. I am SO confident that he is staying! If he does leave, I will allow the moderators to change my username to AggieIceCreamTroll, or something along those lines.

Whoever is our coach next year has to do a better job preparing the team for tournament play. We were lucky to win last night and tonight we blew our load 12 minutes into the game.

I am not convinced that @AggieIceCream05 is not Danny Sprinkle himself just here messing with us. 94% of his posts are on the basketball forum. He joined the board within a month of Sprinkle getting hired and had been one of the most vocal people saying that Sprinkle is staying.
Also Sprinkle likes Aggie icecream.
If I was a coach I would absolutely come to the message board to mess with fans.

The problem last year was that we FIRST had to wait for it to be official that VCU's coach was gone to Penn State, before it could become official that Odom was gone to VCU. This time, at least the Washington job is already open and we don't have to wait.

It worked out last year because Sprinkle knew what he was doing and we got really lucky. The old way of doing it was waiting till the final four, but a lot of coaches and players will be gone by that time. Plus the final four is later this year.

I was a freshman when John L Smith left, had no insider knowledge or anything, but people around the program at that time have said he had a foot out the door towards the end of the season and that’s a reason our bowl that year was a flop. For those that remember that time, do you kind of get the same feeling around Sprinkle right now? Or am I connecting dots that don’t exist…
