Exactly. As soon a the game got to 11 Nevada needed to stop the blessing with a time out. Instead they turned it over have up easy points then couldn't get the ball in bounds.

The best win by the MW better not end up being CSU’s win over Virginia.

The 2nd & 3rd place MW teams couldn’t make it past the round of 64.

This is why I did not envy Nevada landing Steve Alford. He has a poor history in the tournament. Granted we may not have an outcome tomorrow any better. Anthony Grant is one guy I was suggesting we hire after Stew left.

Dayton was killing it with weak teams.

I think this was the Nevada that's been hiding behind some lucky shots that boosted the end of their season the MW. This was more like what many thought they were I think.

That net on the one side of the court was really weird. Like they picked the cheapest one from Walmart. C'mon Delta Center.

Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come for us tomorrow.

What a collapse! That was embarrassing for the MWC after having such a huge lead. Nevada looked completely lost on offense for the last 7 min. Guys taking shots they had no business taking, dribbling it off their foot, making horrid in bounds decisions....blech!

I mean, they are, board curse or otherwise.

When you go into stall mode on offense, it's only natural to let up on defense, as well. You have to keep playing hard on both ends or the result is " a Nevada".

It was weird, they don't have a true point guard but Lucas and blackshear seemed lost down the stretch. They should have been able to make some plays but did not get very involved. Just a stupid loss in a game they shouldn't have lost with 7 minutes to go.

My worry is that USU won’t win after some of the fans started complaining about seeding.

If Duquesne can beat the 5th place team from the Big12, I think 20th ranked USU has a shot against the 8th place team from that conference.

Just go win. I’m tired of the excuses (from a few) when we lose…
The committee sucks
We got a bad seed
We got an unlucky matchup
The other team was tall and athletic
Worst reffing job ever
We play with a different ball
We weren’t focused because our coach had 1 foot out the door…. etc.

I should probably just avoid this forum whenever we lose. Get off my lawn!

Yeah, I think that there is a real argument that 5, 6, and 7 in the league are collectively better than 1,2, and 3.

(Before Everyone comes at me, I said collectively. I am not arguing that 5, 6 or 7 is better than. 1...)

Sadly it's not Nevada'ing. It's Mountain Westing. Conference has a rough recent history of choking. Other than SDSU.

This CSU - Texas game is going to be ugly for the Rams. The sad thing is - the Rams may have the MW's only win the the tournament when its all said and done.

Stevens can't hit anything.
