Hopefully RA3 continues to do these things for Boise for the next 3-years.QuackAttackAggie wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 9:41 pmThey have played terribly too. Rice, Stanley, and Degenhart being combine 4/26 from the field lost them the game.

This breaks my heart! It's sad to see the donkeys lose like that.

RA3 struggled, but Boise State's key players did not score.QuackAttackAggie wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 9:41 pmThey have played terribly too. But they were in a position to win despite that. Came off the bench after a long rest and took a hurried three early in the shot clock. The announcers called him out on it.

This game does answer one question for me: “who was the obnoxious Boise douche fan with an arm sleeve tattoo on the first row at the Mountain West tournament?”
Answer: Max Rice’s brother.

15-4 finish for Colorado
Aggies need to play defense like CSU and BSU, or hope TCU doesn’t shoot well. BSU was in this game with all their top guys outside of Agbo not play well.

Boise State looks to be a better team going into next season with Max Rice being gone.

BJ Rains just said that the reason BSU lost was because of USU's soft schedule.

Re: MW watch party
Part of me was hoping Boise State would win so that the MWC could stick it to the committee. The other part of me was hoping they would lose for the same reasons as always. It's good to have a scenario where I can claim victory one way or the other.Aggie in Boise wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 9:48 pmBJ Rains just said that the reason BSU lost was because of USU's soft schedule.
If I ever see Scott Barnes in person, I will have a lot of not so nice words to share....

Re: MW watch party
Chucking up the ball when said player is missing everything leads to losing.

You know, whoever it was that said Boazy winning, our league looks good, or Boazy losing, Boazy looks bad was absolutely right.

A team that looses to USU twice is gonna have a hard time winning in the post season.Aggie in Boise wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 9:48 pmBJ Rains just said that the reason BSU lost was because of USU's soft schedule.

Maybe I am in the minority. I have never cheered for them but tonight I really wanted them to win. We needed it for respect for our conference.

Re: MW watch party
Boise has seemed like the weakest of the “top teams” in the MW the entire season. They were the least likely to advance in my mind.
Unfortunately, I think we are the second least likely to advance. In terms of likelihood to advance, I’d rank it:
(1) SDSU
(2) Nevada
(3) UNM
(4) CSU
(5) USU
(6) BSU

Re: MW watch party
If we get 5 teams out of the first round, we'll get some respect. We had a team go to the championship game last year. I don't ever expect the conference to earn respect from the east coast

Re: MW watch party
And not because of what our team is capable of, but because this is a really bad matchup. It's like matching us up against UNM.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 10:05 pmBoise has seemed like the weakest of the “top teams” in the MW the entire season. Odom did not offer RA3 then Odom left when RA3 was in the portal, so RA3 being not an Aggie is on Odom.Dwigt wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 10:05 pmRoddie made some mistakes but I can’t actively root against the son of a former Aggie great.AggieIceCream05 wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 9:43 pmHopefully RA3 continues to do these things for Boise for the next 3-years.QuackAttackAggie wrote: ↑March 20th, 2024, 9:41 pmThey have played terribly too. I understand what you're saying but these whiny DBs got what they deserved. They are an embarrassment to our conference.
