This is great for the conference. He is fun to watch and could very well be the face of the conference the next couple years.

Dedan is a mommas boy who didn’t want to leave Vegas to play. My guess is his agent told him to feign transfer interest to maximize the money he gets but ultimately I’m sure UNLV is giving him far less than what other schools would offer

My guess is he only leaves if he goes to the NBA after next season anyway. Late 1st or something

The rumor around UNLV since January was he was going to UCLA because they were offering him a ton of money. The comment after the loss caught some by surprise. I could be wrong but I believe ucla now has a point.

I wonder if there has been major cutbacks in funds or something for bball? This was all they could afford? They only had to pay him minimum wage of $20/hr.

My guess would be that he wanted to make sure he had a solid landing spot before he entered. Not that he knows where he's going, but he probably now at least knows his floor where he end up if he doesn't get something better.

Facetiously yes lmao. I played for fav and as as brilliant an offensive mind as he is I don’t think anyone was seriously advocating for him as Utah states head coach. They really did it at Fresno lol

I will miss him. I loved his energy, seemed to be a good teammate and seemed to appreciate and enjoy the fans. Hope he finds a fit that makes him happy.

He was our best big defender. When he switched players on high screens, he could easily guard a smaller player.
