There was a moment at the start of the sports season that I had the feeling this was the year we win a tournament game. It was actually when I was at my hotel for the Iowa football game, the Hampton Inn in Des Moines and getting on the elevator to go down the lobby and in fact it was to get on their computer and make the "1 day to kickoff" post. Someone was crying and I wasn't going to say anything, but then she told me she was sorry for crying cause she just found out something that happened with her dad. I told her that sometimes it's OK to cry, cause I am a fan of a team that at one point became known nationally for a crying cheerleader. She told me that she thought it sounded bad and that she hoped it would go better next time.
