The Mountain West Conference should be ecstatic with our offensive showing in the game tonight. Collectively, the conference needed to prove that the teams were underseeded and most of the teams in our conference had very poor offensive showings. We showed up and played very well.

Anyone else catch the game announcers saying this was the first time the MWC had three teams win a tournament game? They sounded complimentary of the conference.

We only advanced tonight because we didn’t play at Lawlor…

Yep, getting 6 teams in and having 3 of the 6 get wins is actually pretty good. Look how the SEC performed they got obliterated and they had higher seeds. Having Nevada win would have been huge but still getting 3 victories in the first 4/round while not as good as any of us hoped is still solid.
