We don't need Sprinkle. We just need OP to clean the temple every year during tournament time.

I think you would be surprised as to how much insight and information many on this board have access to, and not just out of the athletic department.

Great we don't need to piss off 18 year olds by killing them with higher tuition costs after all!

If he wants out then he wants out. USU basketball was good before Danny and will be good after him. We have a passionate fanbase and that is a good thing.

I have no doubt, I've been here around awhile. But we have a tendency on this board, maybe all boards, to run with one comment and create a narrative that doesn't really exist. I'd like to know what evidence there is that Danny Sprinkle wants "out of Logan" the way its being portrayed or if he's just a coach, looking for his next move.

Maybe he doesn't. We'll find out soon enough. Hopefully we win today and won't have to find out for another week or two!

My sources on this are out of Bozeman Montana. Hopefully Danny is just conveying his love for Montana and it’s less related to Logan than I’m being told.

There are allegedly about 4 million reasons, and one of the most well-known conferences why this story has legs.

I doubt he coached at Bozeman and has been thrown off by the size and culture of Cache Valley.

Moving into or out of Utah is a culture shock (exception may be Park City or SLC). Culturally Logan is very different from Bozeman.

I forgot, we are not allowed to discuss the obvious that Logan, Utah is different from a culture perspective than the rest of the country.

I think the fact he is a hot commodity and can get double what USU has to offer is much more of the enticement than anything to do with Nibley, UT culture.

Odom leaving for an A-10 school seemed like much more of a lateral move than this. I think we invent reasons when money is probably the biggest one.

There are professors that work their whole career at USU and live perfectly happy lives even with the "lack of a bar."

Does anyone even know if Danny Sprinkle drinks?

Over 1/3 of all Americans don't drink at all.

How so? I liked certain aspects of the story and found it overall to be endearing. I’m fine with people sharing things like this, but I’m as entitled to my reaction (which again was overall positive) as he is to telling his story.

Certainly nothing for anyone to get defensive about.

I am genuinely curious why you made the first post? I have similar reactions to things on here but I’ve never felt the need to comment my thoughts about it.

I hope this doesn’t come across as antagonistic I am just genuinely wondering what the thought process is.

Honestly? Just as a feeler to see if I was alone in my reaction to it. That’s really it. The large quantity of “likes” it got made me wonder if I was the only crazy one for having a mixed reaction to it.

As someone who once was LDS, I can get in the head space of where this is coming from and I know it is a wholesome place, but being on the outside I can also understand how things like this can make those not of the faith confused or even slightly uncomfy.

Alright. I gotta say it. As one no longer of the predominant faith, the OP is sweet, but also a little cringey. I read it with a smile that morphed to a grimace and then to a slight smile again.
Says more about you than him.

That’s about what I figured. Very interesting.

And some wonder why Sprinkle wants out of Logan.
Because some fan on a message board said he does??? How do we know this?
I'll be honest, I was told Danny was regretting his move to Logan by July.

Actually wanting to be in Logan, needs to be high on the list for the new hire.

Just quoting that particular post. No other reason.
