It's at 14:04. He's the Utah Stateman reporter and basically put USU down as a massively inferior team that doesn't even belong on the same court as a team like Purdue.
He sounds like he's the typical closet BYU fan who for whatever reason, is attending Utah State.
I thought the same thing, like that Dunn kid that used to lurk here and on Twitter pretending to be an Aggie.

Man, Painter is the real deal. If we lose tomorrow, it’s going to be really easy to cheer for Purdue the rest of the way.

LaPlante has had so many complaints lodged against him that he’s toned down his ways lol
That's so lame. I had him 5 years ago. For those who don't know, he used be for journalism what ochem is for pre-med students. He was getting complaints back then and so though I couldn't stand him, I wrote him a pretty positive review because by holding him back all you're doing is coddling the student.

Eh, I won’t go into detail in a public space but the rumors at the time made the change more than justified.

Sounds like a kid who's never done this before got super nervous trying to complement a coach and ask a question, and it didn't come out the way he intended. Happens tobintroverts all the time. I've been in this position before and don't expect an ulterior motive here.

Jack is a super nice guy, and just a student. I know for a fact I’d stumble over my words asking anything to one of the best coaches in the country. You guys (on here and Twitter) are ripping into him like a seasoned vet, why don’t you try and support your Aggies?

Plus at the end of the day we got a great answer. Painter is a great coach and unfortunately won’t overlook us at all. I’m expecting a very competitive game.

I hope he asks more questions like it. Got a great answer from painter. Reporters ask the same questions in the same way, it gets where I don't usually bother listening to these kind of interviews normally

Really garbage look to be piling on a student reporter here. At least he was in the room and asked an actual question rather than the lazy “talk about” questions most Utah sports reporters throw out there.
