I am sure a 21 year old British kid loves the purity of Logan over the Hipster Bozeman crowd.ereksonaggie95 wrote: ↑March 26th, 2024, 6:42 pm"Do you honestly think someone would leave Bozeman and fall in love with Logan???"
Yes, Bozeman has changed a lot in the last 25 years. It's full of California hipsters that have tried to turn it into California-West. They show up, buy expensive houses, put on boots and call themselves "Montanans". I would MUCH rather live in Logan.

Maybe that's just a coping mechanism, but it's false.
I think it’s safe to safe only a few of our players would fit at a B1G level.
We had the 18th-ranked team in the country and would have finished somewhere in the middle of the B1G or Big 12 with those lowly bums on our team. No reason to think most of the guys who contributed for us couldn't play/contribute for Washington.
Also, we really need to work on your math.
We have a really good roster to play at the MWC level! It’s okay to admit they don’t all fit at the P5 level.
Especially when Washington will have more access to talent than Utah State does. It’s simple.

Re: Keeping Our Guys
We were the type of team that competed really well or lost big. The Purdue game isn't indicative of the talent on our team. We had a bad game and let it get out of hand. That isn't taking anything away from Purdue. They are a very good team that we lose to most nights. Our team has a lot of talent, and we shouldn't diminish their talents like we have the last several days.

And how many times did TCU lose to a Big 12 team (or any team, for that matter) like they lost to us? The answer is zero. That's right. This team of scrubs beat TCU by more than Houston or Kansas or Iowa State or Texas or Clemson.Bullnamed_gus wrote: ↑March 27th, 2024, 9:15 amHow many times did Purdue beat a Big 10 team like they beat us?shoresy wrote: ↑March 26th, 2024, 4:08 pmAfter smacking a Big 12 team, which, by most metrics, is the best conference in America. So if we're picking one game then extrapolating that result for an entire season, because that's obviously how sports work, we'd win the Big 12 by a landslide but apparently finish dead last in the B1G.

Actually, the Nevada vs TCU game was similar: https://www.espn.com/mens-college-baske ... nevada-tcushoresy wrote: ↑March 27th, 2024, 9:33 amAnd how many times did TCU lose to a Big 12 team (or any team, for that matter) like they lost to us? How many times did Purdue beat a team that had a coach leave the school less than 24 hours after the game?Bullnamed_gus wrote: ↑March 27th, 2024, 9:15 amHow many times did Purdue beat a Big 10 team like they beat us?shoresy wrote: ↑March 26th, 2024, 4:08 pmAfter smacking a Big 12 team, which, by most metrics, is the best conference in America. But we were still their only 15+ point loss.

Re: Keeping Our Guys
Picking at nits here a bit aren't we? a 13 point loss and a 15 (or 16) point loss are really not that different. Especially if you look at the trajectory of those two games overall. Nevada dominated it pretty much start to finish- similar to us.shoresy wrote: ↑March 27th, 2024, 9:48 amWhich further proves my point.Madmartigan wrote: ↑March 27th, 2024, 9:36 amActually, the Nevada vs TCU game was similar: https://www.espn.com/mens-college-baske ... nevada-tcushoresy wrote: ↑March 27th, 2024, 9:33 amAnd how many times did TCU lose to a Big 12 team (or any team, for that matter) like they lost to us? Your broader point is a good one and I agree with it.
