A commitment is something that is made before a National Letter of Intent is signed, which happened last fall. So this isn’t a decommitment.

Doesn't mean he won't come here but that he can look elsewhere. I'm sure the new coach will contact him and try to rerecruit him to Logan. Was Sprinkle the primary recruiter or was one of the assistants? If we keep the assistant we might be able to keep Kase.

Don’t care what any of the high school kids do. I think we committed too many scholarships to high school kids anyway in this class.

Sure, throw the occasional scholarship to a local kid, but high school players are either future roster deadweight or someone we’re developing for another school to buy with NIL.

Does anyone have his AAU stats? I’ve heard he’s had great performances at the AAU level so I’m not doubting him.

I’ve just seen too many HS teams from Idaho where me at 6’0” is taller than half the team.

I doubt sprinkle hasn’t reached out. Maybe he hasn’t today, but he’s been telling them all month long.

I agree the spirit of your message. No need for us to be petty about a kid just trying to navigate a changing landscape relevant to his future.

However, it’s basically a technicality that he hasn’t been contacted by UW and wouldn’t admit to even if UW has been in contact.

I figured as much but I wasn’t sure if by requesting to be released from his letter of intent, if that would preclude him from eventually coming here. Sorry for the dumb question.
