Roy posted in another thread that he is probably not taking 1-2 of his assistants with him.

I have heard he is hiring cal state Fullerton’s head coach to join him and I know Washington has a big push on their side for him to retain 1 of Conroy or Pondexter on staff.

Andy Hill and Eric Brown really don't have much of a coaching connection to him. I've been told that Andy Hill had a long sit down with Diana yesterday.

Eric Brown? Sorry not sure I recognize who Nate brown is.

Also I believe Eric was the lead recruiter for the kid out of Portland?

I know hiring assistants isn’t typically our secret sauce,

But if I means we can retain brown AND Haslam, I’d be pro-hiring Andy as the head guy

Probably not.

How many lead Assistant spots does Washington have?

If he’s taking the Fullerton guy, and he’s being asked to retain 1 Assistant. That’s 2 spots. There’s a spot for a third. Maybe that’s haslam.

Any chance our next HC keeps 1 or both of Hill or Brown? Would they want to?

Which coach knows Falslev well? Hill?

Interesting. Sprinkle brought Andy Hill from Montana State, so I figured there was some sort of connection.

In Danny’s words, Brown is one of his best friends.

Well he also said he wanted to be like Stew at USU and we saw how long that lasted.

Such a wild stat. One has the court named after him, and the other was here for roughly 11 months. And they have the same number of tourney wins lol.

Perhaps that's an indicator of the true (un)importance of tourney wins? :stirpot:

Conference titles are probably the best metric of a coaches success.

Valparaiso, Cornell, St. Peter's, and Florida Gulf Coast have all made random runs over the years, but none have been able to build consistent winners.
