This is wild. We have 22 saying it's done and it's TK, other guys here and at BGSU saying Todd Simon was a done deal.

Now we have sources saying we're still interviewing candidates. There were no rumors for 2 days and now we're getting rumor overload.

I hope this is intentional and not just a three ring circus. Goodman wouldn’t have run with his intel unless it was good. I’m guessing it was true that things were close with TK, but perhaps things have since changed.

It looks like they are testing out false leaks again, and other people have been told it's the Eastern Washington guy, the South Dakota State guy or Andy Hill and are keeping their mouths shut.

We will have to see if we hear reports shortly of AD members being let go for violating their signed NDA.

It was also suggested that Sabua didn't like Goodman leaking Sprinkle to Washington so early and wanted to get even with him be giving him false info to tweet and make himself look bad.

Keep in mind that she has been trying to keep this very quiet, even getting people with knowledge to sign NDAs. I heard earlier today that they wrapped up final interviews this morning. A bunch of usually very credible people are saying different things so it would not surprise me if some of the confusion is intentional.

Were the interviews on campus or have they been in Chicago? I guess Chicago would be closer to all parties involved.

Were the interviews on campus or have they been in Chicago? I guess Chicago would be closer to all parties involved.

My guess is Chicago and Zoom but I do not know for sure.

There’s no such thing as an insider in this job search. No offense to the insiders but they have no idea what’s going on. The faster the rest of you figure this out the easier it will get. This is a new AD who knows what she’s doing, Sabau is leaking different info to figure out who’s a rat. Those “inside source confirmations” that some of you were so proud to talk about may get your source fired you fell right into Sabaus plan.
