I swear this same sh*t happened for Sprinkle or Odom or Smith's press conference. At this point, we should have this (I can't express myself without swearing) polished up with our practice running these.

Heard that. I’d be worried if he didn’t identify shooting as it was definitely a weakness. Will be interesting week or so to see who enters portal and what staff looks like

YOu could tell Brooks was a little nervous and not necessarily used to having all the attention on him. He does seems like a really good coach who can hopefully get the team in a better spot. He for sure has the qualifications to do it.

Absolutely, he certainly is not going to say he is planning on leaving after a year or 2. If he does leave after a year or 2 for a better opportunity that just means that the program continued its upward trajectory which would be awesome.

Especially with 2 coaches introductions, i was hoping for more questions. I am sure Scotty will have Jerrod on his show in the next day or 2 to talk more.

Let's not get too excited. Cache Valley is a very polarizing place, and his girls could also say they aren't happy if they struggle to feel included in the community. Plus, he literally is moving them right now, saying, "My girls are at an age that we don't want to move."

I have accepted and acknowledged that Cache Valley is not a place everyone loves, and we may only get 1-3 years out of this coach before he accepts a job elsewhere. Still, I'm hopeful we'll have a good season this fall. And even if he and future coaches love it, they'll likely leave for a bigger pay check. Most of the out-of-state and Wasatch Front Aggies did the same.

Right, I hear all that and trust me, been dealing with this for years (anytime we have a good seasons I worry about it haha). But when was the last time we had a head coach with this young of kids? My 9 year old would lose it if I tried to move her.

+1. I feel fine with Sprinkle leaving. We finally won in the NCAA tournament, and we ended up net positive on salary expenditures.
