Found it interesting he mentioned he was on the phone with Sprinkle for about an hour and a half. Would have liked to have been in on that conversation.

Why did he end it so abruptly and early? Wth??
Especially with 2 coaches introductions, i was hoping for more questions. I am sure Scotty will have Jerrod on his show in the next day or 2 to talk more.

I was there. There were only two reporters there asking questions, and they both gave "the look" that they were done asking questions before Doug stepped in. I don't think he was cutting anyone off.

Prepare yourself for disappointment. I think the rumors about Haslam and Brown were untrue.

Faulkner who was one of his YSU assistants already accepted the head coach at YSU. Not sure if any of the other assistant's will stay there but at a minimum Jerrod will have 1 available assistant spot even if he brings the rest of the YSU coaches.

I'd hope that part of the process in chatting with players over the next few days would be to figure out who, if any, of the past staff should be retained. I have to imagine that's something that will be discussed with players.
