I must admit to being envious of this run NC State is on. To go from being nowhere near the Tournament before their conference tourney to the Final Four. It’s incredible. If only our Aggies could pull something like that off. I like to imagine Sam Merrill and the 2020 team would have been the group to do it.

The funny thing is they looked horrible against Oakland, but have looked pretty good in all their other tournament games. They were lucky not to have a tougher team for their second game.

But I thought a double digit seed was why we always lost for the past 23 years. Someone forgot to tell NC State.

Or George Mason or vcu or Illinois Chicago, st Peter's etc. . . We just didn't get it done. Hopefully this is the year of a new trend

That's an Aggie myth. I'm not sure Sam could do it alone in the backcourt. Further Smith wasn't a good tournament coach.
