Well, the news today has been pretty discouraging. Some good news might help the mood.

All the players were in attendance for the press conference yesterday.

Super happy Isaac is staying. At least we won't have to hear all the time on broadcasts that the Aggies returned 0 points from the prior year. I do think that Isaac has a lot of potential. I thought he should have played quite a bit more. I would not be surprised to see Isaac as 12 point and 7 rebounds per game player next year.
Just because he said he’s staying, he may not like being left alone holding the bag. He could still enter the portal and at this point I expect him to.
Why would you expect him to when he said he’s staying? Don’t put that evil out into the universe.
And that will be his last year here as teams will be tripling or quadrupling what the Aggies can pay for a 7 foot guy with a ton of upside that can play inside and out. Hes only staying because he has to prove his potential still and can't command sufficiently more than the Aggies can offer.

He also has some knowledge of what Purdue coach Painter was talking about when he said you can chase money and be miserable or know a good thing when you have it. From interviews he had a miserable time at Oregon. It’s possible the money here is enough that it’s not worth the chance of ending up miserable some place else for slightly more money.
