I just love to see that our coach knows the importance of the portal and seemingly is being aggressive and I think one can derive from many of these tweets that he's leaving no stone unturned.

Such a refreshing change from Smith (and Odom too if my memory is correct) that our name was never associated with any of these reports of players announcing who they have heard from.

Did you hear what he said about needs for this team (assuming most come back) on Scotty and Hans yesterday?

Assuming we keep most of the guys, a couple of guards, wing and a 4 man.

Agreed, having your name out there is big long term. With evergreen transferring a player could come back in a year.

Here is something to watch. This Virginia Tech PG entered the portal and his top 2 teams are Oklahoma or Creighton. If he heads to Creighton, Ashworth likely just lost his spot/role.

The next step in the portal. Teams with large collectives recruit over current players and the current players get cut out of the NIL money pot. Players better have their agents lock them in beofore the portal season starts to wind down.

Assist to Turnover ratio 4.5 to 2.7 per game this season -needs improvement
other than that, he looks solid.
did the father also coach at GB and WYO when he played there?

That’s interesting. Not sure I love the coach/player deal unless the coach is not hired due to his younger brother.

Btw I think you mean his brother. Nic was born in 1994.

I like the Reynolds kid.

Was good at Wyoming. He was good at Green Bay, and Green Bay was a solid team this year.

Yea...the turnover to assist ratio doesn't bother me at all for a guy that scores 20 and has a usage rate of 31%.

Getting Reynolds and Burns to go along with Falslev, Johnson, and Uduje would go a long ways toward being competitive next season. That would be a nice potential starting 5.

That just means 1 person predicted that’s where he would go

100% is the % of predictions, not that he’s definitely going there.
