He’a going to get 15 minutes of playing time on the first half. He was 1-for-3 from three with a couple of rebounds and an assist.

He has now hit 5 three's. Awesome to see him play well in front of his parents.

There were a good bunch of us! We cheered as loud as we could every time Sam drained a 3!

Re: Cavaliers @ Jazz
He got a very warm reception when he checked in the game the first time. Definitely a lot of Aggies there. Hard to balance cheering for the Jazz and cheering for Sam but found myself cheering louder for Sam as he actually gave us something to cheer about. Rough year for the Jazz.Section_L_Aggie wrote: ↑April 2nd, 2024, 10:07 pmThere were a good bunch of us! We cheered as loud as we could every time Sam drained a 3!

I will start watching and cheering for the Jazz again when they sign Sam and/or Queta. Otherwise, I could give a $hit less about the Jazz.

Only if he ends his collegiate career in an Aggie uniform otherwise, he is dead to me. The same goes for any other Aggies.OrangeCountyAggie wrote: ↑April 3rd, 2024, 10:12 amOr if they draft Great.Aggie in Boise wrote: ↑April 3rd, 2024, 9:59 amI will start watching and cheering for the Jazz again when they sign Sam and/or Queta. Re: Cavaliers @ Jazz
Sam got a nice ovation the first time he check in and played well. Sam and the dude from Smithfield who won a car, got told he did not win a car, then finally got the car, were the only entertaining bits of that game.

Very true. Going from watching March Madness to watching the NBA was eye opening. Is the NBA always so lifeless and meh?Intermeddler wrote: ↑April 3rd, 2024, 11:51 amSam got a nice ovation the first time he check in and played well. I mean the environment might be lifeless and meh sometimes but the basketball is light years ahead skill wise and strategy wise.hipsterdoofus21 wrote: ↑April 3rd, 2024, 12:37 pmVery true. Re: Cavaliers @ Jazz
The NBA generally, yes. Jazz games are usually lots better. The OKC game just before the deadline was loud and intense but since they punted on the season it’s been mediocre.AggiePT wrote: ↑April 3rd, 2024, 12:46 pmYep. Peak Jazz games in my experience rival the spectrum for noise and intensity honestly
I strongly prefer nba basketball to college which I find mostly unwatchable but the environments are definitely not better
