Good for Dallin. Good opportunity to probably get immediate playing time. Also close that is family can attend all the home games. I am happy for him.

Hall has multiple years left, so I like that aspect. Not that that really matters anymore. But I can hope!

Re: USU Transfer Portal Tracker
I want both Josh and Ian to both decide to stay. All either of them have to do is to stay that they are going to stay. Calhoun on the other hand has to actively recruit the best players he can. If those commitments drive them to not stay while it would suck at this point that is the risk they are playing with.3rdGenAggie wrote: ↑April 15th, 2024, 10:35 amWould you take Hall or a slim chance at Ian and a good chance at Josh?OrangeCountyAggie wrote: ↑April 15th, 2024, 10:27 amIf you land him, say goodbye to Ian and Josh so no thanks.
Re: USU Transfer Portal Tracker
Hall will end up at byu after Burgess is named the coach, which will probably happen today or tomorrow.

Re: USU Transfer Portal Tracker
For those of you who seem to want this guy, what role would you see for Hall as an Aggie given who we know is returning? He's not a good PG and we now have Albury so the #1 is not an option, we have Falslev returning at the #2 who is already a better scorer and finisher at the rim than Hall, and Ian or Josh at the #3 are both far better and way more athletic. What does Hall do well? He is strong and is fairly good and driving and kicking and he is a decent 3pt shooter. I'm just not seeing a path that USU is all that attractive to him when it comes to playing time and unless he is willing to play a limited role, I don't see USU having a great need to add him either.
Between the $$$ he supposedly wants and the PT he probably expects, I don't see a fit. He likely wants to be a starter wherever he goes.

Setting my biases aside (both loving USU and hating Kentucky), if Great can get a truckload of money to play for a Blue Blood, he 100% should do that.

Re: USU Transfer Portal Tracker
I hope someone let's him know the type of system Pope runs would translate to mostly rebounding for Great. Calhoun on the other hand wants to expand Great's game to improve NBA odds, and Great knows his teammates here at USU are willing passers into the post.ineptimusprime wrote: ↑April 17th, 2024, 9:52 amSetting my biases aside (both loving USU and hating Kentucky), if Great can get a truckload of money to play for a Blue Blood, he 100% should do that.

TCU had a ton of forwards, so the per game stats are less from the smaller number of minutes played.
