Too complicated. Just add up the thirty minute stats and roll with it. We are going to score 150 points a game!Aggie in Boise wrote: ↑April 29th, 2024, 12:22 pmSo, if we play 10 guys for 20 minutes then we're going to have to start figuring out 20-minute stats. Too much math.LarryTheAggie wrote: ↑April 29th, 2024, 11:59 amI mean why play 8 guys that make 15 points for every 30 minutes they play when you could play 10 guys that make 15 points for every 30 minutes they play.flying_scotsman2.0 wrote: ↑April 29th, 2024, 11:47 amA 10 man rotation will help us when it comes to tournaments. Based on their per 30 stats, we can make 30 more points a game by playing 10 instead of 8.
@SLB , would you be so kind as to figure out the 20 minutes stats for our 10 best (championship caliber) players?

I came to post this… “keep my faith”? Fingers crossed? I have no idea or source but those 2 seem relatively tight. I think KT has a good relationship with pretty much all the players.
I’m going to choose to read into it. I like getting my hopes crushed

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
This is a good idea. I will do in-depth 23-24 season per 20 stats then sum it for 23-24 whole game stats to get a gauge where we sit statically going into the season.Aggie in Boise wrote: ↑April 29th, 2024, 12:22 pmSo, if we play 10 guys for 20 minutes then we're going to have to start figuring out 20-minute stats. I would add that the projected current roster players to have the best increase in per minute production would be Falslev, Albury, Anderson, Templin, and Anderson.
Falslev and Johnson- second season removed after redshirting
Templin and Anderson- entering into their true sophomore season
Albury- 2nd season in D1 basketball

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
, you want me to add all that up now? I already did enough math to figure out 10 guys playing for 20 minutes. You think I'm some sort of GS-0110-14 DOC Economist with a graduate degree from WSU or what?LarryTheAggie wrote: ↑April 29th, 2024, 12:29 pmToo complicated. Re: Current State of USU Basketball
I saw Great around Logan 3-4 times throughout the season (usually at the grocery store), and each time he was with Templin and Sahko. Probably nothing but this story by Templin is interesting…

If I remember correctly, Great went to Templin's house for Christmas. They appeared to be pretty close. But I have no insight on how that helps or does not matter on the decision.

Can confirm that Great took a pause from his UK visit to reshare Karson's story on his insta. Means nothing, but we know Great has seen the story.Aggiefan33 wrote: ↑April 29th, 2024, 2:01 pmIf I remember correctly, Great went to Templin's house for Christmas. They appeared to be pretty close. Re: Current State of USU Basketball
I'll believe it when I see it and not a second earlier. I get lured into this idea that we have so much depth we'll play a deep rotation, and it has never happened. I know it's a new coach. I know we're bringing in a lot of talented guys. But it'll be mid-December before I'm willing to accept this.aggies22 wrote: ↑April 29th, 2024, 11:42 amI get the feeling we are going with a 10-man rotation.BasketballAgg wrote: ↑April 29th, 2024, 11:34 amDoes anyone have stats on Calhouns rotations ??
Is he a frequent subs guy or a 35+ Minutes per game guy like Sprinkle ?

Re: Current State of USU Basketball
The way I see it is that Templin is being a good and supportive friend, wishing Great good luck on his visit at UK. I'm sure he wants him to succeed and maybe Great doesn't have a guaranteed spot there if he doesn't show out well.Aggie702 wrote: ↑April 29th, 2024, 2:23 pmCan confirm that Great took a pause from his UK visit to reshare Karson's story on his insta. I don't necessarily think this is a good sign for Great returning to USU.

I don't get why some folks have not moved on. Great is getting paid the big bucks somewhere.
I am waiting for Carter Welling to commit.

We are getting close to being a team that crushes the opposing team then destroy them further with our reserves.
