Not sure how much you wants to play close to home but Washington state's only 90 minutes or so from there so be interesting to see if he chooses them.

Well I hope he chooses to an Aggie, he’ll be the second coming of Carrol.
And if he doesn’t, then he sucks anyway and I didn’t want him

With the way this kid shoots the 3-ball, I absolutely think he could average 15+ points per game as a true freshman.

Re: Wynott names top 3
We have a few things in our favor. I've heard he doesn't dig big cities. Washington State has a new coach. Although we have a new coach some of the major players that he met on his visits here remain here. Right now, Utah State provides the most familiar territory for Kase.

Well I hate say to this but realistically if he came to usu & did that, someone would just come offer him $500k & he’d be gone after one year anyway.

I mean he already did spurn David Riley while he was at a school close to home, but that was maybe because MWC > Bug Sky.
I think if I were him my options would be between WSU and USU. and probably pick WSU. Close to home and get to play In a decent conference plus Gonzaga.Trying to put my bias aside.
I know he’s a good player but just wild Sprinkle recruited him at Montana state, and our level, and still offered him at the Big 10. Sprinkle said at Washington in the Big 10 “he can finally compete for final fours”. But he’s recruiting the same kids lol. You’d think if the Big 10 was so much better he would recruit higher rated kids..?

If you look through his likes on twitter it is filled with lots of Wazzu content. That's basically all it is since he decommited from USU. He seems to be a big fan of David Riley being their new coach.

UW Sprinkle who has originally been recruiting him.

I know we're interested in what's going on here but has anyone been tracking what Sprinkle's been up to at Washington? Could be telling.

Lame choice if he chooses Wazzu. He won't make the tournament, ever. Washington may make the tournament as a 10, 11 or 12 seed with an 17 or 18 win season. Utah State? Well we saw what a Utah State season looks like last year. Yah. I know other schools have more money, but winning matters.

Can you fault a kid for staying home? Lapwai is very much cougar country. Probably grew up going to wsu games.AggieFBObsession wrote: ↑April 6th, 2024, 11:17 pmLame choice if he chooses Wazzu. But having spent 4 years on each campus, USU is a significantly better basketball situation (esspecially since the pac 12 fell apart), I think a better school, and as much as some people here might disagree, there is a lot more to do in Logan.

The best chance to reach the tourney is for the kid to come to Utah State. Best home-court advantage, Utah State.

Question — is anyone aware of a single example of a kid pulling a commitment and then later committing to the same school. I can’t think of any.

I think this kid is going to be gold plated dynamite.
I also think that the best move for him would be to come to Logan.
I would see him here 2 years before moving on to something far greater than Wassu or Washington. To get that next step in the portal though, you need to be able to play and play early.
