Medved earned that pay raise. This is a smart move by Colorado State.

It's comical how many people were saying we should hire him for our next head coach when the job was open.

Almost as comical as some saying we wouldn’t want Hall from BYU.Roy McAvoy wrote:It's comical how many people were saying we should hire him for our next head coach when the job was open.

He's now second highest paid coach in MWC (behind Dutcher).
And per rumors floating around, this is around the annual amount we offered Sprinkle as an extension.

I'll bet literally every single person on here would take Dallin Hall as a standalone idea.FeartheFro wrote: ↑April 15th, 2024, 3:35 pmAlmost as comical as some saying we wouldn’t want Hall from BYU.Roy McAvoy wrote:It's comical how many people were saying we should hire him for our next head coach when the job was open.

It's when you look at the reality of having Dallin verses someone like Detyon Albury, or Ian Martinez, or knowing we'd have to pay a huge chunk of limited NIL$, and looking at the domino effect of bringing in a Dallin Hall is when people say it isn't worth it.
Well that and the fact that it just isn't going to happen in reality.

I’m thrilled that Albury is coming here. His tape looks great. I also realize Hall was never coming here when he entered the portal. With that said there were several on here saying Hall wouldn’t start and we didn’t need him. I’ll guarantee you that Hall is going to have a much deeper list of schools that want him and willing to offer much more NIL when compared to Albury. Does this mean he is going to be a better player than Albury, no, but it indicates what type of player others view him as. I hate BYU as much or more than anyone on here, but I don’t let this hate cloud my judgement of basketball talent.Roy McAvoy wrote:I'll bet literally every single person on here would take Dallin Hall as a standalone idea.FeartheFro wrote: ↑April 15th, 2024, 3:35 pmAlmost as comical as some saying we wouldn’t want Hall from BYU.Roy McAvoy wrote:It's comical how many people were saying we should hire him for our next head coach when the job was open.
