No. This is some dude that plucks stuff from the forum and posts it on Twitter as his own info. Any idea on why the holdup on an announcement(s)? Seems like this has been a done deal for awhile now.

I believe the Welling boys are just arriving today for their official visit. I'm going out with my wife tonight so of course they'll probably announce while I'm away from my computer and post the articles I've prepared.bluegrouse wrote: ↑April 26th, 2024, 5:10 pmAny idea on why the holdup on an announcement(s)? One thing that Carter Welling would bring that we didn't have that much of since Queta.

Re: Visitors this weekend?
Worst case, we get one really good player and one dedicated scout team player. To be blunt, every year we have guys on the team who aren't going to get on the floor. If that's what one half of the Welling turns out to be, that's no big deal. The fact that they're getting to play together is cool (like Jalen and Grayson).

If you add Carter Welling to the roster, we have Welling, Johnson, Albury, Allen, Falslev, Martinez, Templin, Uduje, and Gateretse. There are no minutes left because that group of 9 players are playing.

There’s probably some truth to that. Re: Visitors this weekend?
He has been hitting first on a few things and definitely has good inside info or sources.
We will take all of the news that we can get as long as it is somewhat reliable. 22 is an exceptional source, but there is plenty of room for others to join in on the info sharing. 22 needs to be okay with others being then person with the info at times. Single source media can’t do it all and has shortfalls.
I remember when the Aggship came online. 22 was a bent out of shape at times. However, as many of us know the Aggship provides top notch Aggie coverage and insights.
We will take all of the solid info we can get.

Re: Visitors this weekend?
Exactly, it’s almost a perfect scenario. Although it would be nice to have an extra scholarship to offer for next year, if we could just put him as a PWO and pay for his tuition with NIL that would be idealReal Life Aggie wrote: ↑April 26th, 2024, 5:57 pmWorst case, we get one really good player and one dedicated scout team player. Not necessarily. There has been a scenario proposed where he will stay on as a preferred walk-on.

It seems like we are all excited for Carter Welling, but is Hayden not as good? I guess I should just wait for 22’s articles.

Interesting picture. The young man on the left is in Reno as we speak. His name is Justin McBride. He is a transfer portal player from Oklahoma State.
I have no idea who the other kid is.

I do think there is a solid chance they will be playing against each other in Logan next season. There is some guarded optimism in town that he will be coming on board for the Pack. But...youneverknow...

Either way, they should be playing against each other in Logan. But either way, I think we can safely assume they won't be playing against each other in Reno.

I am pretty sure they are manipulating the schedule so you only play NV in Logan. Even with the 20 game conference schedule. I have accepted the MW just loves you guys and hates the Pack..Such is life.

Re: Visitors this weekend?
I have a pretty good hunch that only Carter Welling will be an Aggie in 2024-25. It's beginning to sound like they are no longer a package deal as originally stated. The only way Hayden ends up in an Aggie uniform is if he walks-on.
