Poor 3pt shooting this year (23%), but respectable last year (35%). Any clue if there is an explanation for this?

63% FT Avg shows he is not a great shooter

22 the uvu beat writer says he has 2 years of playing eligibility. I’m not sure how, but have you heard anything in that regard?

He's been playing since 2020. I don't see how that is possible??

This one is a bit puzzling to me. For a coach that promotes the 3 ball and a team that desperately needs shooters...uh..

If he can't shoot then he needs to excel at something else but I'm not really sure what that is. In any case, I'll root for him since he's smart enough to want to be an Aggie! Here's to hoping he has one spectacular Sr. season.

His shooting statistically looks about like that byu kid that wants 500k nil money. That nobody wanted. Haha

We need 2 PGs, so the shooters can get the shot that they like.
Allen shot 35.5% in the 22-23 season, so Allen could return to shooting the 3 ball to that level.

It appears he's willing to take a back up role (which we need). And if he sucks he'll be gone next year anyways lol. If he ends up better than Javon, great. If he ends up on the end of the bench oh well. It means someone has outplayed him and taken the minutes.

I agree, I am actually very excited about Drake. I think he can be a solid role player for the Aggies. He averages 11 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He seems to be well rounded. While his 3 point shooting is not great he also only shoots about ~2 per game so he obviously plays to his strengths.

Yes. He is an average WAC player.
