2024 depth chart tracker

Post by MetsJetsAggies » April 26th, 2024, 1:00 am

Now that the team is really starting to take shape, wanted to get a depth chart going as we add our last couple of pieces to the roster.

PG: Albury, Allen
SG: Ian, Falslev, Albury
SF: Falslev, Uduje, Ian
PF: Fish, Templin
C: Gateretse, Fish

That 8 man rotation alone looks very solid on paper. Basically another 4/5, a backup 5, and maybe a shooter or an athletic guy who can play 3/4 but not too many minutes to go around now

I’m surprised we haven’t heard more rumblings about Burns and Dynes since they would fit the roster well, but I trust Calhoun

Exciting stuff though

I'm a little worried about the 4. Johnson can play it offensively, but he will struggle on D. Templin is going to be good, but can he stay our of foul trouble.

Guys get better in their second year. That is why scouting the stat line like fans tend to do can be very misleading.

Welling from Irvine would help shore it up when we need a different match up. Him and Gateretse have good length and seem like better shot blockers than the we had last season.

Either that or we go small ball and play Uduje at the 4, or hopefully bring in the USF or Central Ark guy
