Job Description
KUTA is a television station ran on Comcast 118, Aggie Cable TV 61 and over the air DTV 8.1.
We are seeking highly motivated, dynamic, sales driven professionals who can work from their home office and establish strong partnerships with the local businesses by showing them the value of utilizing our station for advertising and services to grow and improve the KUTA Television.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manage complete sales team, lead by generation of sales
• Build and manage a quality sales representatives with provided training
• Prospect and secure new accounts through resellers using cold calling, email and creative methods for outreach
• Highly self driven and motivated
• Identify and secure appointments with key business marketing directors
• Create formal sales presentation and place follow-up calls to prospective and new resellers
• Provide consultative services to resellers by extending support and defining marketing strategies
• Cultivate strong, ongoing relationships with resellers including sales training, up-selling, and demonstration support
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organization
• Meet or exceed revenue and sales goals
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of KUTA mission and goals and all services offered and a strong awareness of the competition
Required Experience
• Preferred 4 year degree in Business and or Marketing
• 5-10 years sales experience overall, with recent sales experience
• Excellent prospecting, presentation, and selling skills
• Proven record maintaining and exceeding sales quota/revenue goals
• Ability to qualify and close cold call opportunities
• Aggressive yet professional, results driven attitude
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Power point (training available if needed)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding problem solving and negotiation skills
• Positive attitude and ability to maintain long-term customer relationship
• Proven track record of honest dealings with customers
