they're not receiving any votes. but we hadn't beaten them since 1982! it looks like csu has the tie breaker over us, so they need to lose to boise in the final match and we need to win to finish in first alone.

Which is surprising, because that’s only 4 years after the national championship in ‘78. And I think the Aggies were runners up in ‘79. I was sitting in the spectrum watching a basketball game when they announce that the volleyball team had just won the national championship. Good win today USU. Volleyball ties for regular season champion. Now they are a 2 seed in the tourney.

After head to head can't break the tie, CSU's 2-0 against 3rd place San Jose State beats our 1-1. Same thing happened with men's basketball one year, when we tied Nevada and split the regular season, so then Nevada got the 1 seed cause of their 2-0 record against the 3rd place team against our 1-1 record.OKAggie wrote: ↑November 20th, 2021, 4:59 pmTiebreaker. A tie for first place still means a MWC regular season championship.
