Re: Aggie Auction
For the tours of the stadium/spectrum, it says "redeemable through:" and "dates:" but nothing listed. As someone from out of state who would love to be able to do this but isn't sure when I will be in Logan, anyone have insight into when it is redeemable for?

Lots of good stuff. They need some additional sizes for my fat gut though.

Sucks to be us, I'm 6'4" and I can only wear tall sizes, I hate having to go up in size just to find a shirt that fits, and of course, tall people don't exist to some people I guess...pilotaggie wrote: ↑February 9th, 2022, 5:36 pmLots of good stuff. Re: Aggie Auction
Does anyone know if they are shipping? I ordered one of the buy now. Hopefully they are willing to ship and I don't need to pick it up. That wasn't exactly clear to me. Because that will end up being really expensive for 2 t-shirts. If not, I guess I'll go from there.

I'm less fat than I used to be, but now my problem is my shoulders. Ever since I focused more on lifting heavy than my prior programs my shoulders have gotten so big that even XL t-shirts rides up and exposes my gut to everyone at the gym.pilotaggie wrote: ↑February 9th, 2022, 5:36 pmLots of good stuff. Last year my items were had delivered to Farmington. But they will mail items. I think they had enough things to bring in a trip as my neighbor a street over also got some items.Imakeitrain wrote: ↑February 10th, 2022, 7:45 pmDoes anyone know if they are shipping? Crazy how much they want for MW championship rings. I'd pay a pretty penny, but 1500 is a bit much.

Re: Aggie Auction
Some of the pricing seems kind of weird. $250 for a basketball jersey for a random player that no one knows seems steep...some of the other items are pretty good deals. The ones that have No Bids still are that way because they were priced wrong to begin with.Aggie formerly in Hawaii wrote: ↑February 16th, 2022, 9:07 amCrazy how much they want for MW championship rings. Re: Aggie Auction
I concur. The $400 for a signed Donovan Mitchell jersey without any authentication is quite steep. You can get one off eBay for less than that with something saying the signature is actually real which is handy in case you ever want/need to resell it.ProvoAggie wrote: ↑February 16th, 2022, 9:35 amSome of the pricing seems kind of weird. $250 for a basketball jersey for a random player that no one knows seems steep...some of the other items are pretty good deals. Yeah there are some great deals and I bid on a few things, but some items feel like they just don't want to sell them at all.

Re: Aggie Auction
The Virtual Meet the Aggies are kinda odd to me. Not very expensive but no one is bidding on any of them. They have a similar feel to the football press conference ones.Aggie formerly in Hawaii wrote: ↑February 16th, 2022, 9:50 amYeah there are some great deals and I bid on a few things, but some items feel like they just don't want to sell them at all.

A virtual meetup just doesn't do it for me and apparently others too. The press conferences are a little more surprising.

Re: Aggie Auction
What is this? A Zoom meeting with some Aggie players? Why would I want to do that, let alone pay for it? I feel the same way about back-stage passes for concerts. It just seems like that would be awkward. "Hey, Mr. Post Malone, I'm a middle age fat white guy trying to look cool. I like your face tats." I guess I just don't get "star struck" very easily.thegreendalegelf wrote: ↑February 16th, 2022, 9:59 amThe Virtual Meet the Aggies are kinda odd to me. The most star struck I ever got was standing next to the port-a-potty while Tiger Woods took a leak during the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines. Judging by the sound of rushing waters, his back teeth must have been floating. He walked out and looked right at me, but I don't think he actually saw me. That dude was laser focused. I also stood right next to his (then) wife Elin Nordegren at the same tournament, and we brushed elbows.

As for meeting Aggie players, it isn't so much as being starstruck as it is an added feature to a donation many of us make anyway. I'll put it this way, on the auction there are many options to donate to various Aggie sports. If I am donating a few hundred to Aggie basketball, I might as well donate the same and get to meet the players. Not really interested in the virtual option though and clearly not many other people are either.

Re: Aggie Auction
That was my thought. I'll throw some money to usu if I can get something for the donation why not. If it is more than I would pay to eBay I don't care. I would rather the money go to usu than Bill down the street

I bought a few shirts. I bid on the suite with Hartwell at the byu game and was in the lead, but then it exploded and the winner paid over 2 grand for those seats.

Re: Aggie Auction
I was trying to figure out who the 3 jerseys belonged to. 23 could have been 3 people (Daron Henson, Kyle Davis, or Queta). Black was #50 which that number only belonged to Elston Jones and he was bigger than an XL. Blue was #40 which is no one. We haven't had a #40 since switching logos.Aggiefan33 wrote: ↑February 17th, 2022, 7:59 amI was in on that, then got the Queta jersey. I ended up winning the Rumpl blanket and the Yeti cooler. It's insane that I got them below FMV .
I kind of wanted the signed softball helmet, but figured that I wouldn't know what to do with it. I kinda don't want any signed memorabilia anymore as I'm no longer 12.
I'll make this an annual habit. It's a fun way to give.
