Update
He had a heart attack on Saturday while hunting with one of his sons in the mountains.
My wife was a few years older than him and also threw the hammer. Many years competing together. Sad day for his family. With all his success in life he was a down to earth friend

Man that's terrible. I guess the silver lining is he passed while surely doing what he loved with his loved ones.

My kids go to school with his kids. We coached his daughter in soccer. So tragic. There was a candle light vigil last night and a lot came out to support the family. Unbelievably tragic.
