What's your favorite sports app?
I grew up on ESPN, but I feel a few years ago the app quality really diminished. I've tried a few since then, and currently like CBS Sports ok.
What sports apps do you like? Checking scores, access to stats, articles, highlights, etc

Mostly I also use CBS Sports. It does enough with my ever dwindling interest in sports.trevordude wrote: ↑October 15th, 2023, 10:54 pmI grew up on ESPN, but I feel a few years ago the app quality really diminished. I've tried a few since then, and currently like CBS Sports ok.

I've mostly avoided ESPN since they turned more political. While I don't mind watching a game on one of their channels, that is about all I can handle for ESPN.

I have been anti ESPN since 2011 or whenever it was they became completely obsessed with only talking about Tim Tebow.
Like others I use CBS. It’s pretty good. Sometimes the box scores for games disappear like half an hour after the game for no apparent reason which is annoying but it is what it is.

Re: What's your favorite sports app?
What drives me nuts about the ESPN app is that it gives me notifications for teams that I don’t give a crap about. Why does it have me select my favorite teams if it’s still going to give me an update on what Prime says every press conference? Or what some random women’s basketball team did that I have no ties to? Or literally every UFC event? It’s gotten to the point where you have to just turn off notifications. Is the CBS sports app that way?

I quit using espn years ago and now the only one I use is cbs sports and I really like it. From my experience once you set up your favorite teams you can get updates only about them and it seems to work pretty well. You can pick the type of alert that you get as well.

I'll try out The Score and see how it compares to CBS.
I do like CBS's and SportsLine for gambling as well.

I use bleacher report. I feel like I get breaking news way faster that way.

The Score and The Athletic are by far my most used sports apps.
