We have two additional setters coming in the fall plus Tukuafu who transferred from Omaha. We have Jofe coming from Bonneville high school in Idaho and Lijić one of the Croatian players joining our roster.

I’m actually really excited about this season. We got some power hitters and a really good and tough non conference schedule. I’m excited to see how the season goes.

One question I have is about our venue (I love club Estes). I went to the byu game last year and it was electric in there but I felt that if we played in the spectrum the student section would have packed a decent chunk of the seats especially when we were playing byu. I had reserved seats but I saw a long line of students turned away because there wasn’t any more room. I think volleyball is growing on campus so for some of the higher profile games why don’t they choose to play in the spectrum?

so we will have 3 southeast Idaho players next year?
Jofe from Bonneville
Hone from Thunder Ridge
and Holdaway from West Jeff?

Also, it was discussed a few times last season that the Spectrum doesn't have video replay for VB so it has to be in Club Estes until another video replay system can be afforded.

To be more specific, the issue is that they installed a fancy new replay system in the Estes. It just doesn't make sense to outfit both venues for game specs, and more often than not the Estes is a far better option anyways.

The Estes really should have been like 2500 seats and capable of hosting women's basketball

So that 2450 of them could be empty?

I can't fathom the level of incompetence it took to construct that building without a second locker room and without at least 500 more seats.

somewhat related note, with the MW championships being in Logan this coming season I wonder if they will do that tournament in the Spectrum? I do not know that answer, but that would make more sense outside of the replay system issue.

For WBB it's better than 9950 being empty, and volleyball would have way fewer than that being empty, especially with their recent successes.

Well I think it will remain in Estes because it’s Thanksgiving week so the crowd won’t be that large. So during this time I think it will play to our advantage.
