NCAA Tournament Tickets Conundrum
NCAA Tournament Tickets Conundrum
The NCAA Tournament is my favorite sporting event and I try to attend anytime it is in Salt Lake. I bought 2nd Round tickets this year but I'm very concerned that BYU could end up being placed in Salt Lake. Do I keep the tickets and go anyway to cheer against them if that ends up being the case or do I flip the tickets and sell them to BYU fans for 3 or 4 times my cost?

If you have a chance to flip them for that kind of profit I would unless it's a game you really want to see. Could use the money you make to fly somewhere else and see a better game the next weekend.

Flip them.
I was noticing the difference in ticket prices between the first round sites. Salt Lake City was in the cheaper end

No question. You make money and go where you want. Its especially great when you make a little money on a cougar.Bigd23 wrote: ↑March 2nd, 2024, 9:32 pmThe NCAA Tournament is my favorite sporting event and I try to attend anytime it is in Salt Lake. This post is likely straight up poor sarcasm and cannot be taken seriously.
Re: NCAA Tournament Tickets Conundrum
I'm not expecting USU to be placed in Salt Lake but USU and BYU should be close in seeding and I'm still holding out hope that BYU doesn't play in Salt Lake. They're obviously the one team I don't want to go and watch there, but I could definitely still cheer against them.
I'll have to watch Selection Sunday next week and see what happens as far as the bracket and what ticket prices are like if BYU happened to get placed in Salt Lake.

Unlikely, but that would be amazing! I think the NCAA Tournament Committee would put themselves in a tough spot putting either team in SLC as a 4 or 5 seed, given how close the teams are to that site and that typically only the highest seeds get priority placement close to home, but who knows.

This us the hardest thing I have ever typed. BYU is damn good.Gidbob wrote:I'm kind of hoping for a R32 4 vs 5 matchup between BYU and USU

Not so fast my friend. They live and die by the 3 and are definitely struggling today. They might be able to win a couple of games in the NCAA Tournament, depending on their setup in seed and path, but they are more pretender than contender.

Relief. Just shouted for joy in BYU getting a 6 seed and placed in Omaha. Keeping my tickets to go down to SLC and have a good time. March Madness is the best!
