Dartmouth MBB Players Now Unionized Employees
I believe there are still appeals in the works to the court ruling that they are employees, but it will be interesting to see what comes of this.

Dunno if that was every true at Dartmouth. Maybe in rowing or something pretentious like that.

Honestly, I'd rather have college players in a Union and get a set percentage of revenues than the wild wild west NIL has become

I'm glad the private universities get to experiment with players as employees first. I think it's a good move, but there's kinks to work out

Dartmouth hockey games are a lot of fun. Went to a ton of those when I was growing up. Actually enjoyed the football games too.flying_scotsman2.0 wrote: ↑March 5th, 2024, 12:46 pmDunno if that was every true at Dartmouth. Maybe in rowing or something pretentious like that.

Conference realignment, unlimited transfers, and NIL are probably bigger, but unionizing just adds another brick on the road to the overall ruin of college sports.SoJo_Aggie wrote: ↑March 5th, 2024, 1:13 pmHonestly, I'd rather have college players in a Union and get a set percentage of revenues than the wild wild west NIL has become
