I believe there are still appeals in the works to the court ruling that they are employees, but it will be interesting to see what comes of this.

Honestly, I'd rather have college players in a Union and get a set percentage of revenues than the wild wild west NIL has become

I'm glad the private universities get to experiment with players as employees first. I think it's a good move, but there's kinks to work out

Dartmouth hockey games are a lot of fun. Went to a ton of those when I was growing up. Actually enjoyed the football games too.

Conference realignment, unlimited transfers, and NIL are probably bigger, but unionizing just adds another brick on the road to the overall ruin of college sports.
