WTHCG - Earlier this year, the Mount Union Purple Raiders crossed 100 straight regular season wins. Since Week 7 of 2005, the Raiders haven't lost, except in the championship game- a stretch which includes 4 championships ('05, '06, '08, and '12) and 6 losses in the title game ('07, '09, '10, '11, '13, '14). This year's team has shut out 6 of their 9 opponents and only given up 31 points (7,7, & 17) while scoring 55.8 points per game. The John Carroll Blue Streaks have worked their way up from the middle of the Ohio Athletic Conference to be title contenders over the last 3 seasons, and have been the toughest competition for the raiders over the past two years, falling by 7 in 2014 on the road and by 8 in 2013 at home. The streaks lost at home to Ohio Northern(6-2) in early October in the only game in which their opponent scored more than 16.
