Re: New commit
Doubtful it’s the punter. And ya, amateur hour. We’re supposed to get the area code, guys.

Re: New commit
When can you start doing area codes? Seems like it's outlawed for a good chunk of the year. I don't believe any of the tweets from Wells had an area code for this class. NCAA rules are weird.

Re: New commit
As far as I can remember Wells always did it until this year. Maybe he was told to stop.

Re: New commit
This one is pretty tight lipped fellas. All we know at this point is this is an in-state commit.

Re: New commit
If they're being tight lipped, I'm guessing he commited else where. Hill maybe but I'm hoping for one of the Bingham boys or Vincent!!

For those that have a 247 account. Isaac Draxler has an article up about our new commit.

Re: New commit
Well I don’t but I’ll guess it’s Cooper Legas. If it is that’s a big win.JFW_AGGIES wrote: ↑January 6th, 2019, 4:34 pmFor those that have a 247 account. Isaac Draxler has an article up about our new commit.

Re: New commit
If it is Cooper Legas, is he a sign and send? I ask because we already have a fairly high rated qb (Calvin) in this years group. If he goeson a mission, he will be further indoctrinated to switch to the “one true” school. It has happened before.

Re: New commit
It's not Cooper Legas. He is a sign & send though. He's going on a mission. Even if he did commit it seems the odds are decent he would flip to BYU.

Re: New commit
Unless things have changed in the last few weeks, from what I have been led to believe Cooper Legas being a sign and send isn't a sure thing.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑January 7th, 2019, 6:19 amIt's not Cooper Legas. Re: New commit
Interesting. The news on him has always been that he's going on a mission. Maybe that's changing? Also, I don't know how much stock one should put in this post on cougarboard, but it's still interesting. I put some stock in sit because USU has been recruiting him but he hasn't committed yet even though we're easily his best offer at the QB position.I will say the "partial scholarship" thing is crap though. There's no such thing in football. Maybe it's partial academic with a walk on offer to the football team.aggies22 wrote: ↑January 7th, 2019, 6:22 amUnless things have changed in the last few weeks, from what I have been led to believe Cooper Legas being a sign and send isn't a sure thing.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑January 7th, 2019, 6:19 amIt's not Cooper Legas. Re: New commit
Coach Andersen offered Legas and his teammate Hunter Hill the night that Andersen was hired so both kids have only had their offers for about 3 weeks. With signing day and the holidays, there hasn't been much of an opportunity for either kid to explore Utah State up close and personal recently. But with the dead period ending in just a few days, I would expect things to pickup quickly, not only for Legas and Hill but for our other remaining targets as well. I will say this, Hill was intrigued enough by the Utah State offer, that he put off signing with Washington State.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑January 7th, 2019, 6:26 amInteresting. Re: New commit
I have it on good authority that Cooper is pretty much sold on USU>byu. My source is a byu fan who lives by Cooper.Roy McAvoy wrote: ↑January 7th, 2019, 6:19 amIt's not Cooper Legas. Re: New commit
Solid commit. Big time recruit of hs. Went and played 1 yr of jc. Interesting note is he played alongside Bryce Beekman who was a one time commit to us.

This helps take the sting off losing Darwin. Seems like we’re reloading just fine!

Re: New commit
We as a 247sports crew have just been waiting for Jaylen to announce something but if his Dad is going to tweet things, I'll confirm that the in-state commit from Saturday night is indeed Jaylen Warren. 3* AND the National JuCo Offensive Player of the Year!

Re: New commit
Is it physically possible to tackle him with just one defender?
