The Aggies win big
This win gives us a now 18-5 record, and another good road win.
We just jumped into where NCAA tournament is there for the taking.
Notable Road/Neutral court wins : St. Mary's, Fresno State, and UCI
Toughest games left are Nevada at home (winnable since it is at home and road conference games that are not at the level as this Fresno State team that we beat)
San Diego State is no pushover, but they are no Fresno State.

Re: The Aggies win big
I believe Fresno State play at a way higher level when they are playing us.
Do anyone else feels the same way?
Huggins scored 29.5 points per game against us.

And even they're still top 100 so really it's not a terrible black mark on the resume
We still have 4 pretty tough games left with Reno at home, and the Roadies at SDSU, Boise and CSU (who has been playing much better lately). We have our work cut out for us but we control our destiny at this point. We can afford to drop 1 more game before the conf tournament and still get in I think

Re: The Aggies win big
If we were to win out before the MW Tournament, and we were tied with Nevada with one loss each, would the tiebreaker be overall record for the 1 seed?
Utah State Hey Aggies all the way! Go Aggies! Go Aggies! Hey! Hey! Hey!

2 losses each. Unfortunately they'd win the tie breaker because of our loss to Fresno (it goes by record against highest seeded teams until there's a difference). Kinda dumb they can lose to a crappier team and win the tie breaker because of itTrueAggieman wrote: ↑February 6th, 2019, 12:21 amIf we were to win out before the MW Tournament, and we were tied with Nevada with one loss each, would the tiebreaker be overall record for the 1 seed?

Oh right, thanks! That is kinda dumb, but makes some sense too.MetsJetsAggies wrote: ↑February 6th, 2019, 12:26 am2 losses each. Re: The Aggies win big
It is critical that we follow up the FSU win with a win at SDS. There is still very little margin for error if we expect an NCAA invite. BSU and CSU on the road won’t be easy. The Nevada game at the end of the season will be a barn-burner if we need the win to tie them for 1st place.MetsJetsAggies wrote: ↑February 6th, 2019, 12:17 amAnd even they're still top 100 so really it's not a terrible black mark on the resume

Re: The Aggies win big
It great that we are playing games for 1st and 2nd place instead of 7th and 8th place.
