Re: Fresno
Fresno has great shooters. Hopefully we can contain them. It will be a battle. I like our chances. Just can't have Huggins, Taylor and Bittner all go off. We can handle one, but if they all do we are in trouble. They obviously did not have to extend as much effort as the Aggies did, but I actually think that was good to have to grind it out for a win. I can't remember a recent Aggie team who was so good in the last 4-5 minutes of games.
Re: Fresno
Their last two games from three:
vs. AFA: 16-38, 42%
vs. SJSU: 23-38, 60%

Re: Fresno
Huggins was 0-6 tonight and they had some bench players really shoot well tonight
Pretty evenly matched teams (us and them). We have had advantage on interior. Need to get turnovers in check, limit dribble penetration, and make them shoot tough shots and control the boards

Re: Fresno
You can’t say 9 days is too much time off then after one game say they are going to be tired because it was such a hard fought game. Yes, I know the announcers tried to do just that. I think that game is exactly what we needed to get back In our groove.

Re: Fresno
I'm just glad the rust and the rest is behind us. I think it contributed to the turnover fest last night. Hopefully, we can clean that up tonight and take this game. Should be a good one.

Re: Fresno
Huggins didn't even affect the game last night. I hope that continues. I think we are better defenders than AFA. I also think we are susceptible to sagging in too much which gives a good shooter the opportunity to step into their shot. Queta needs to have a big game on both sides of the court.

Re: Fresno
Fresno will be a tough games. They lead the league in 3-point defense and offense and in steals. We lead in FG% and rebounds. The games will hinge of stoppinf their 3-pointers and making our own.
I think we do it and set a rematch with Nevada.

Re: Fresno
Good team strength summary utaggies and I thank you for presenting the strengths of both teams. Fresno is very solid team and I was surprised to see them play so well against an Air Force team that had beaten the Bulldogs in Fresno earlier in the year.
I haven't been into AGGIE basketball like this for so very, very long and I'm getting so much enjoyable basketball insight from so many on this board. Thanks to all.

Re: Fresno
We can now add tonight’s line:
vs. USU: 5-26, 19%
