Re: Zoobs down 40....
He got tired of shagging rebounds for BYU's chuckers and declared for the NBA draft after his Sophomore season.
And no, that is not an exaggeration. From what I've heard (from his Dad), he felt that he wasn't going to improve his game any more at BYU, so he went ahead and went professional even though he knew he likely wouldn't make the NBA immediately. As NVAggie said, he's playing in Europe somewhere.

Re: Zoobs down 40....
I think most of the BYU fans melting down have a very short memory. From the tail end of Reid's tenure until Rose, BYU basketball was not in a very good place. Perhaps one of USU's worst sporting moments was losing to BYU in the 1996-1997 season when we were BYUs only victory.
That year, they lost one game by 50 points, 4-5 other games by 40 points or more, and another 10 or so by more than 20 points.

So basically on par with our loss to SJSU last year.jpswensen wrote:I think most of the BYU fans melting down have a very short memory. Re: Zoobs down 40....
There were a lot of people on the cougar board chat. I assumed this was the reason.

This has steam, but I am hearing it from the same person that said BYU was scrambling because Gonzaga was Gonzo instead of paying the MW like a fiddle so take it for what it is worth.
They are working out details as well as trying to get him to change his mind.
